Probably to the right person, But it seems like a bit much to me personally.

My sense is that there are a lot of these cars still on the road, with low mileage and in very good shape. That could be had for less. Buy this for half the price, and with lower mileage.

I don't see how it's worth it when you can get a similar car here http://www.buyavette.net/C3.php for $49k and that's retail, but I'm no 'Vette expert so there may be something there that justifies the price that I'm not seeing.

Exactly, and look at the one I linked. 23K and 30 grand.

Even numbers matching cars can be had for around 30K. I think we have a verdict: CP.

There's going to be some bump in price for the 454 vs the 350 that's in the $30k BIN car but there's no way it's going to be double the price.

Good point - I forgot that these had a selection of engine. Still - double?

Lol, I don't know why they would brag about that color. War Bonnet Yellow was the most popular color in 1971. The powertrain is what makes this car relatively uncommon. Only 2,387 'Vettes were made that year with a 4-Speed. While the 365 HP 454 was the most popular optional engine choice that year (the base 350 outsold all of them), it is relatively uncommon to one with a numbers matching 4-Speed. I'd still say CP, though. A bit too overpriced compared to most. If you look at the link from token_liberal, there are two fantastic '71 'Vettes with rarer options, and for less cash.

Still a beautiful car, though.
